Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. Corr debuted in 1990 as the lead singer of The Corrs, a Celtic folk rock and pop group The Corrs along with her three elder siblings Caroline Sharon and Jim. Andrea Corr is Irish singer-songwriter musician. She received the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award and is best known for being part of the Celtic rock and pop group The Corrs. As the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist of The Corrs, she also serves as the leader. Andrea began her acting career in 1991. In the following years, she developed into an accomplished singer and stage performer. She acted as a voice actor on the Warner Bros. 1998 animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea's studio album of six is enhanced by two compilation albums as well as three live albums, and a remix album. Additionally, Andrea was awarded awards to support her charitable work. Andrea is the wife of her stockbroker partner and has two children. Andrea began her lessons in music with the tin whistle. Gerry helped Andrea learn to play the keyboard. Andrea also plays the ukulele. Her musical abilities were developed in her teens. She would sing with her brothers and was eventually promoted to the position as the singer in charge of the group. Andrea studied at 'Dun Lughaidh Convent which is where she participated frequently in school shows.
